Baking

Baking is excellent fun, often unforgiving but still worth the effort. The oil based nature of Quirki Chilli is perfect to bake with.

• Flat to fat breads
• Pastry
• Muffins
• Flapjacks
• Biscuits
• Cakes

Even chocolate loves a bit of chilli!

Pizza

You choose the toppings

QC is very much at home with pizzas.

You can either add some at the dough stage or the sauce stage, if making your pizza from scratch.

If you just fancy enhancing your shop bought pizza simply loosen your preferred level of QC with 1tbsp of olive oil in a small bowl and spoon over the top of your pizza before putting it in the oven

Soda Bread

A Solid All Rounder

Soda bread is one of the easiest breads to bake, there are endless variations most being quick and simple.

Add a couple of teaspoons of QC to the ingredients at the mixing stage. Adding some chopped up sun dried tomatoes will give an element of sweetness too.

Cookies

Chocolate

Chocolate and chilli are a great combination.

Using a shop bought mix (from the fridge) simply spread some QC over your cookies before they go into the oven.

Don’t knock it before you try it!

Focaccia

An Italian Classic

To save time I used a shop bought mix to make a lazy delicious Focaccia.

Following the instructions on the packet, add a teaspoon of QC at the mixing stage before kneading is all you need to do to give your lazy Focaccia a lovely twist.

Cheese and Bacon

Using shop bought puff pastry simply roll it out to roughly 5mm thick.

Cover one half with grated cheese and bacon and the other half spread QC as shown in the photo. Fold the pastry over and cut into strips using the bacon as your guide. Holding each end of a strip twist then baste with egg wash.

Put them on an oven tray and into a pre heated oven 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
