Gryos Kebab

In a Pitta with Salad

Lots of ingredients but well worth it! Time to raid the dried herb parlour!

In a bowl of 4 cubed chicken breasts add 4tbsp of olive oil, 2tsp dried oregano, 1tsp dried mint, 1tsp ground cumin, 1/2tsp coriander, 1tsp sweet paprika, 1/4tsp cinnamon, zest and juice 1 lemon, 4 cloves crushed garlic, 1tsp QC,1/2tsp of salt & pepper.

Allow to marinade for 3hrs but if you can up to 48 is best. If it’s not bbq weather then a skillet pan on the hob will do!

Serve in a warm pitta with a shop bought or homemade tzatziki, fries and salad.  A healthy alternative to your usual kebab.
